Since 2006, APAC has provided consultancy services to ANSPs and has supported national competent authorities as a Qualified Entity (formerly Recognised Organisation) in accordance with Article 69 of Regulation (EU) 2018/1139 (previously also in accordance with Article 3 of Regulation (EC) No. 550/2004 as amended by Regulation (EC) No. 1070/2009). This status was awarded by the Austrian National Supervisory Authority (under the jurisdiction of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Innovation, Mobility and Infrastructure), to support national competent authorities in assessing compliance with the common and specific requirements for providers of ATM/ANS, including safety.
