Slovenia Control - Support, Advice and Production of Operational Documentation

Slovenia Control contracted APAC for technical and management support related to the following tasks:

Slovenia Control DPO and Ground Equipment Certification Support

• Identification, analysis, and review of the implemented Slovenia Control processes.
• Development of, and support in preparing, the DPO process documentation.
• Creation, update, review, and maintenance of software development-related documentation.
• Support in communication with the competent authority responsible for approving the DPOs.
• Preparation of documentation for ground equipment to be certified by the competent authority.

Support for Achieving CP1 and LSSIP Objectives

• Project management support.
• Support in the analysis of CP1 and LSSIP objectives, including the required functionalities and the definition of an implementation roadmap.
• Identification of regulatory requirements, and support in operational and system requirements engineering for the upgrade of FDPS, CPDLC, Radar Data Display, Monitoring Aids, Safety Nets, and SWIM-compliant meteorological data display.
• Support in safety assessments.
• Review of verification and validation activities.
• Preparation, update, and review of project and lifecycle documentation compliant with the rules for certification and declaration of ATM/ANS systems and constituents.

Support in Implementation of the New VCS

• Project management support.
• Definition of an implementation roadmap, including the transition from the old VCS to the new VCS.
• Comprehensive review of the product documentation delivered by the manufacturer.
• Support in the preparation of Slovenia Control documentation required for transition and operation.
• Participation in verification and validation activities.
• Performance of the safety assessment and production of the VCS Safety Case.

Maintenance of ATCC and TWR Safety Cases

• Review of changes to the functional systems of the ATCC and TWR units.
• Performance of safety assessments in cooperation with operational personnel and technical experts.
• Update of the ATCC and TWR Safety Cases, taking into account the safety assessment results and available evidence.

Support in Fallback FDPS Production and Delivery to EUROCONTROL MUAC

• Support in the preparation, update, and review of project and lifecycle documentation.
• Preparation of MUAC Fallback FDPS-specific documentation.
