EAD Training
EAD provides highly complex and comprehensive services based on a very complex system. EAD staff and EAD clients shall be trained very well to be able to work efficiently with EAD.

The TeamEAD (EAD system implementation project) as well as the GroupEAD Europe S.L. (EAD service provision) will base their training on the same approach, methodology and material.

TeamEAD will train the Pilot Client.
GroupEAD Europe S.L. will train the EAD staff working at the EAD online sites in Frankfurt and Madrid and will offer training for all other clients.

Training Approach
A Training Manager of TeamEAD is the single point of contact for Pilot Client Training (C. Cambruzzi, cam@apac.at). For the time being two training blocks are planned for Pilot Clients: October 2002 and March 2003.

After Provisional Acceptance of the EAD system a Training Manager from GroupEAD Europe S.L. will take over responsibility for the training. Depending on the requests from the clients, GroupEAD Europe S.L. will offer several training sessions per year.

The EAD training is conducted by subsystem domain experts (e.g. INO, charting, etc.) and operational AIS experts (operational procedures). All courses will be held in English.

The following additional modules will be available for EAD staff:

The subsystem experts and AIS experts will jointly present most of the modules. The EAD training will not consist of general AIS or computer training but will focus on EAD specific issues and subsystem applications. The client shall book the modules depending on his needs. The EAD staff shall complete all required courses before starting operation.
The quality of the training is ensured by a Service Level Agreement with Eurocontrol. The training sessions will be monitored by Eurocontrol.

Training Location
The EAD Training Centre will be established in Frankfurt-Rödelheim, Germany. As soon as the training centre is available (aprx. 2002), the training sessions will be held there.
